Building Charlie's Village in miniature, in the pre production department at Shepperton Studios. Contracted by Cinesite in 2004 and working for the feature film Charlie and the Chocolate factory, released in 2005 and directed by Tim Burton.
First involved closely in a team of five for 5 months building Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory to start.
Then moved on to the larger village model integrated in a larger team of over 100, for the duration of 3 months collaborating with designers, painters, sculptors, engineers... people from all walks of life!
Also worked as a prop-maker, building candy trees and lolly pop trees for the pre production department at Pinewood Studios, working for Warner Brothers, 2004. Contracted for 4 months building full scale props to dress Willy Wonka's Garden set, for the Feature film Charlie and the Chocolate factory, released in 2005 and directed by Tim Burton.
