This project was commissioned by MacDonald Humphrey Automation, to promote their new biometric technology 3D scanner models named "L3 ClearScan". The purpose of this 1/20 scale model was to create a visual marketing tool that allowed the client to exhibit it at various trade shows and other events worldwide.
L3 ClearScan CT checkpoint scanners are used at major international hubs like Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Geneva Airport, London Heathrow, London Luton, and Chicago O'Hare International Airport. These 3D imaging systems let passengers keep laptops, electronics, and liquids inside carry-on bags during security screening.
