This Coat of Arms was commissioned by The Bermondsey Business Improvement District to be permanently sitting in the Blue Market.
The process involved 3D modelling the piece from scratch. Then 3D print and laser cut the parts separately. These parts were then assembled into 1 single large model. Which we then made a silicone mould, so we could cast the coat of arms as 1 single piece out of a high temperature resistance epoxy which is also flame rated.
The epoxy cast was then primed and hand painted before adding 5 thick coats of 2k Acrylic gloss lacquer to seal the coat of arms.
